#1 - Please limit your requests to only 3 awards at a time. (And if you don't know what award you'd like, just ask for any award :] )
#2 - Your site has to be more than one page long. Come on guys, be reasonable...
#3 - No pornography! NC-17, (even some Rated R) stuff is acceptable, but out and out porn is not. If that's not clear enough, lemon/lime fanfics, adult themes, suggestive writing and/or art may be acceptable, as long as it's clearly noted as such.
#4 - Sites must have *some* original content...even if it's just a small amount. We would really like to see some original content.
#5 - We prefer anime/manga related sites, but if you have an exceptional site in another area, we're willing to make exceptions.
#6 - Let's be frank, here... No flames, hate, prejudices, etc. We're sure you get the idea. The world has enough negativity in it, we refuse to add to it.
#7 - Mild profainity (especially when used in fanfics, creative writing, etc.) is one thing, but please no sites that have every other word a foul one.
#8 - Have fun and don't take it too seriously.
The awards you can win and their sub-requirements are listed below. There are a couple of awards that won't be listed here as you cannot apply for them - they are special awards that are given out by the Kitties - so go ahead and apply - you never know what kind of surprise you may get! :)
Please note that the awards for "Great" "Cool" and "Nice" site are sometimes interchanged. :) And we're always working on new awards, so you may not get the one seen here as samples. :)
The Award of Excellence
This award is a little tough to win. Our judges will be checking to make sure there aren't any broken links, all the images load, the site loads realtively quickly, it's easy to navigate, it has interesting content, among other things. Remember this is The Award of Excellence. Another requirement for this award is that the site has to have been updated at least once in the past three months.
The Romantic Site Award
Well, this award is for a romantic site.
The "Just Because it's a Voltron Site" Award
Got a Voltron site? Well then, this one's a given.
The Cool Site Award
Gotta be a cool site. ^.~
The Impressive Website Award
We've got to be impressed! ^.~
The Fun Site Award
This one's for a site with fun and entertaining stuff.
The Great Site Award
**grins** Yup...this one's for a great site! ^.~
The Nice Site Award
This one goes to any site that we enjoy, but that we don't really feel fits into any of the other catagories.
Okay...you've come this far, there isn't much left, so hang in there. ^.~
If you'd like to request which award you'd like to receive, please feel free to do so, but keep in mind that the final decision will be up to our judges. And the judges will consist of three anonymous members of HRH - we'll rotate between members who have volunteered.
So, please email us at thehunkclub@yahoo.com. Please be sure to include your name and email address, site address, site name, the site's email address (if different than your email addy), the award you'd like to apply for or if you'd rather us pick the award.
If you'd like to nominate a site that isn't your own, you can do that, too, but please be aware that we will notify the webmaster to make sure that they'd like to receive the award, and at the webmasters request, we will also let them know who nominated their site.
Finally, please be patient. It might take us a couple of weeks to get back to you. If, after a month, you still haven't heard anything back from us, please email us again, just in case the email gobblins ate the email. :)
