Fill mixing glass with ice. Add brandy, triple sec, rum and sour mix. Shake. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.


Cherries Jubilee

(This recipe should only be made by an adult or with an adult's close supervision.) (Vanilla is thought to be a powerful aphrodisiac.)

1 1-pound can (2 cups) pitted dark sweet cherries
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup brandy, kirsch or cherry brandy
Vanilla or cherry ice cream

Drain cherries, reserving syrup. Add enough water to the reserved syrup to make 1 cup.

In a saucepan, blend sugar and cornstarch. Gradually add syrup. Mix well. Stir over med heat until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in the cherries. Turn into a silver or heat-proof bowl.

Heat brandy. Ignite brandy and pour or ladle over cherry mixture. Blend into sauce. Serve at once over vanilla or cherry ice cream.


Chinese Ginger Cake

(Ginger has been used as an aphrodisiac in Asia and India for centuries.)

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tbsp chopped candied ginger, or preserved ginger (you can find this in most Oriental markets)
2 large eggs
1/4 cup molasses
3/4 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 10" Bundt pan, dust with flour, tapping out the excess.

Mix together flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.

Beat together butter, brown sugar and candied ginger at med. Speed, until blended. Beat in eggs and molasses until light and fluffy.

At low speed, alternately beat flour mixture and milk into the butter mixer, just until blended. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan, smooth top.

Bake 45 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean). Transfer pan to a wire rack, cool 5 minutes. Turn cake out onto rack to cool completely.


Cranberry Sparkler

3 oz cranberry juice cocktail
3 oz club soda

Fill a highball glass with ice. Add cranberry juice and club soda. Stir gently.

Cupid's Kiss

(This drink contains alcohol and should not be consumed by anyone underage.)

1/2 oz crème de noyaux
1/4 oz white crème de cacao
1 oz cream
1 strawberry

Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add crème de noyaux, white crème de cacao and cream. Shake. Pour into a tulip glass. Garnish with a strawberry.


Forgotten Kisses

(Chocolate is supposed to be one of the greatest aphrodisiacs of all.)

2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
6 oz pkg. Hershey's Kisses

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar and salt in small mixing bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in sugar, continue beating until stiff. Add vanilla, beat a little more.

Drop meringue mixture by half teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Top each dollop with Hershey's kiss. Cover kiss completely with another half teaspoon of meringue. Place in preheated oven set to 375 F. Immediately turn off oven and let cookies remain in oven overnight or until completely dry. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.


Ginger-Spice Cake

(Ancient Egyptians offered honey to Min, the God of Fertility.)

1 1/4 cup honey (or corn syrup)
1/4 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine or butter
3 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp ginger
grated rind of 1 lemon
grated rind of 1 orange
1/2 cup finely minced candied orange rind
1/2 cup milk

For garnish:
40 blanched or toasted almonds, split
20 candied cherries, split

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13" x 9" pan.

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar and butter. Over low heat, cook until the butter is melted and mixture is lukewarm. Stir to combine ingredients. Remove pan from heat; set aside.

In large bowl combine flour, baking powder and spices, stir in the freshly grated rinds and the candied rinds. With fork, stir in the milk. Add the honey mixture. Mix until a smooth batter forms.

Poor the batter into the prepared pan. Use a spatula to smooth the top, then arrange the almonds and cherries on top in a decorative pattern.

Bake for 45 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean).

Transfer pan to a rack, cool cake in pan. Cut into 20 or so squares and serve.

2 oz sloe gin
1 egg white
1/2 lemon juice
several drops raspberry syrup

Fill mixing glass with ice. Add sloe gin, egg white, lemon juice and raspberry syrup. Shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.


Oysters Rockefeller

(Oysters were supposedly a staple in the diet of Cassinova, himself.)

24 oysters in shells
1 Tbs. Chopped onion
2 Tbs. Snipped parsley
1 cup chopped, cooked spinach
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs

Open oyster shells, remove the oysters (with a knife) and dry. Wash the shells then place the oysters back into the deeper halves of the shells. Mix the onion, parsley and butter; spread over oysters. Season with salt, pepper and paprika to taste. Top each with 2 tsps of spinach and sprinkle with 1/ 2 tsp of bread crumbs. Dot each with a tsp of butter. Heat on a bed of rock salt at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.


Oysters with Lemon Vinaigrette

30 fresh Sydney rock oysters
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup thickened cream
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme (or 1/4 teaspoon. dried thyme)

Combine juice, oil, cream, chives and thyme in a screw-top jar; shake well. Pour dressing over Sydney rock oysters


Safe Sex on the Beach

1 oz peach nectar
3 oz pineapple juice (or grapefruit juice)
3 oz orange juice

Pour peach nectar, pineapple juice (or grapefruit juice) and orange into a highball glass with several ice cubes. Stir.


Scalloped Oysters

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup flour
3 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 teaspoons green pepper, chopped
2 teaspoons diced onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 quart oysters
juice from oysters
cracker crumbs

Melt butter, stir in flour; cook 5 minutes or until brown, stirring constantly. Add paprika and pepper; cook for 3 minutes. Add salt, green pepper, onion and garlic; cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, oysters and liquor from oysters. Pour into baking dish and sprinkle with cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.


Sensual Black Forest Creamy Cheese Pie

3 eggs
2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
3 tablespoons margarine, melted
2 cups crushed chocolate cookie crumbs
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 14 oz can chocolate sweetened condensed milk
1 21 oz can cherry pie filling

Put cherry pie filling in refrigerator to chill. Preheat oven to 325 F. Grease a nonstick 9 inch pan, and sprinkle the cookie crumbs on the bottom. Pat it down.

Put cream cheese in large bowl and with an electric mixer, beat until smooth. Gradually beat in condensed milk until smooth.

Add cornstarch and almond extract, then mix well. Add eggs and continue to beat until the mixture becomes even more smooth. Pour mixture on top of cookie crumb crust.

Bake for 55 minutes or until almost set. Let pie cool before running a knife around the sides to loosen the pie from the pan.

The release the pie from the pan. Cover the pie and chill it for at least one hour. Top with chilled cherry pie filling.

Feed it to your loved one with a spoon. :)

Sex on the Beach in Winter

3/4 oz peach schnapps
3/4 oz vodka
3 oz pineapple juice (grapefruit may be substituted)
3 oz cranberry juice cocktail
1/2 tsp cream of coconut

Fill blender with 3 oz. Ice, peach schnapps, vodka, pineapple juice (or grapefruit juice) and cranberry juice. Blend until smooth. Pour into a goblet or Collins glass.


Simple Salad

(Tomatoes are called 'love-apples' by the French, and Basil is used in Voodoo love ceremonies. The Chicago Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation says that women are aroused by the scent of cucumbers.)

Finely chop the basil. Chop the tomatoes and cucumbers into bite sized pieces. Toss together in a salad bowl. Top with the vinaigrette before serving.

1 1/2 oz peppermint schnapps
hot chocolate

Pour peppermint schnapps into a mug. Fill with hot chocolate. Top with whipped cream, if desired.


Spicy Essence

Peel of 1/2 a large orange
Peel of 1/2 a large lemon
2 large cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces
6 whole cloves
2 large bay leaves
1 1/2 tsp dried lemon peel
1 1/2 dried orange peel

Chop the peels of the orange and the lemon. Mix together with rest of ingredients. Wrap in a colored square of cloth or cheesecloth or package in small tin. To use, simmer mixture in 2 cups of water to create a spicy scent throughout your abode.:)


Strawberries

Dip them in chocolate, top them with whipped cream, or use a combination of sour cream and brown sugar - whatever your preference, strawberries are very romantic.
