So, you must be wondering, "Who are these nutty girls? And why are they calling themselves 'The Three Hunkateers'?"
Well, we decided to call ourselves "The Three Hunkateers" because we're the Founding Members of the "Hunk's the Real Hunk Fanclub" and, quite frankly, we love puns... especially really horrible ones. ^.~
And now, we'd happy to introduce ourselves to you...

My name is Lynne, and I'm a Hunkateer. I don't know where it happened, why it happened, or actually, what happened, **scratches behind one kitty ear** but thanks to the grace of Voltron: DOTU and KittyShannon, I stand before you now, clad in official Kitty Club garb and proudly proclaiming my allegiance to the Big Guy. ~_^
I am a huge fan of the Hunkster, because I feel a sensitive, intelligent, cheerful, caring, but woefully unsung hero deserves some kudos! To sum it up, Hunk's just an all around good guy, the kind you'd love to bring home to the family. He's valiant; a great pilot, loyal and true to his friends, and you'll never find a better advocate for children anywhere in the Galaxy Alliance! He's not afraid to show when he really likes or cares for someone, or when he is hurting or happy about something that's happened to him, and I find that extremely sexy. Meow!
In addition to these admirable qualities, another aspect of Hunk that has always fascinated me as an author, and as a woman, is his special brand of physicality! He's strong in personality, but of course you can't ignore his overwhelming, powerful masculinity, because all the ingredients are right up front- the proud, high cheekbones, the strong jaw, the brawny biceps, his sensuously rippling pectorals and flexing, taut...um... heh, heh... Sorry about that, I get a little carried away. **Blushes**
He deserves more than a passing mention, or the obligatory Hunk-in-any-type-of-scenario-involving-food fanfic. This site is totally dedicated to exploring his full potential, and what a terrific potential it is... **smiles, and purrs**

Hello, my name is Caroline and I welcome you to this new Web Site dedicated to the bravest, sweetest, and hunkiest man that has come out of the Space Academy-

(The audience applauds enthusiastically. KittyCaro looks down at the first row and discovers a smiling Hunk and four Space Explorers glaring at her)
Uh, sorry Keith, Sven, Lance and Pidge, all of you are handsome in your own, special way. But he's the best!
Why do I think Hunk is a hunk?
As my grandmother used to say, a man must have the three F's:
"Debe ser Feo, Fuerte y Formal"
(He must be virile, strong and formal)
And we have watched the anime and CGI series and read many fanfics that prove he has those three qualities and many, many more.
But my grandmother had another saying which is my favorite:
"Un hombre es como el oso, entre más feo, más hermoso"
(A man is like a bear, the more ugly, the more beautiful)
And he does look and act like a bear when he hasn't had his eight-hour beauty sleep, his friends are quite aware of that.
(The four smiling Space Explorers nod in agreement and Hunk winks at KittyCaro, making her blush)
But I don't care, that's why he's my Big Cuddly Bear.

As I mentioned back in September, I'm glad that Hunk is finally having his time in the spotlight in the fics of the KAEX Mailing List. So when Shannon and Lynne asked me if I wanted to be founder and contributor of the "Hunk is the Real Hunk" site, I immediately said yes!

Ya know, I really love Hunk. IMHO, he's the unsung hero of the VF. And he really is hunky, in that sweet, cuddly way. I see him as the kind of guy that really doesn't realize just how much appeal he has.
It's like, you've got Keith, he's gallant and handsome, you've got Sven, he's enigmatic and gorgeous, and of course, Lance, who's dashing and, well... **sighs dreamily** ...ravishing... **coughs and blushes**
Sorry...I was daydreaming. I tend to do that whenever Lance comes up... **giggles** Never mind... ^.~
But back to The Big Guy. **grins** He's just so sweet and adorable! And a sweet, kind-hearted guy just has so much appeal to me. And that's why I wanted to be part of all this madness. :)
