Since HRH began, we've grown significantly - and that growth is largely due to our many members and their wonderful contributions. With that in mind, please read on...
A few months ago, we asked our members to participate in a short questionaire about Hunk - we then posted their replies on HRH (you can find these in the "members of HRH" section - just click on a name and if that member participated, you'll find their answers! :) Well, a few days before that update was posted to HRH, Lady Cyberdragon had a suggestion for us - an introduction of each member of HRH on the site.
Her idea sparked a discussion between us and we decided to use her idea and feature each member of HRH - one a month. (Huge thanks go out to LCD for her awesome suggestion!!)
We think this is going to be a lot of fun so keep checking back in here - each month will bring a new interview with a new member! It gives everyone (us as well as you!) the chance to get to know (or get to know better!) so many talented and cool people! And you never know who will be next - it could be *your* favorite fanfic writer or fanart artist!
So, without further ado, we give you...
Hello, and welcome to the 'Hunk is the Real Hunk' Fan Club, a place where the big guy is finally getting his just desserts! ~-^
Ask just about anyone who enjoys the original anime hit Voltron: Defender of the Universe, (or the series' recent CGI incarnation); Hunk is impossible to overlook! His humungous appetite, strong, muscular body, steadfast love for children, and his fierce loyalty to Princess Allura and her cause are a fundamental part of the show.
Couple these traits with his distinctive voice, hotheaded determination and loveable bouts of clumsiness and you have the trademarks of a memorable character, one that definitely makes the hearts here at HITRH go pitty-pat. :D
However...**deep, heartfelt sigh**
If you are of a typical mindset of the majority of fans of the original Voltron series, you will simply remember Hunk as one of the 'good guys', and then promptly dismiss him as a minor character, only good for opening malfunctioning doors, or for comic relief. 'Hunk? Why Hunk?' you are probably muttering, while reading this. 'What about the handsome Keith, the witty Lance, or that buff Norwegian guy that died and came back? Now there are some bona fide heroes!'
We here at HRH deeply appreciate these guys' special, um, attributes as well, but keep an open mind. What's wrong with adding another 'Defender' to the list of hunk-dom? Consider the Hunkster, Space Explorer extraordinaire; the powerful left leg of Voltron and the most under appreciated anime man we know. Give him a chance to strut his stuff, jeez, even Prince Lotor gets more respect than this big-hearted guy!
Hunk's been shamefully neglected in so many ways, but all that is about to change. We know he's more than just a leg, or a convenient target for food jokes. So what do you say?

We here at the command center of HRH firmly believe in both the worthiness and the 'hunkiness' factor of the 'the big guy', so much so that we have formed a cheering section devoted to Hunk in all his manly glory...so please, feel free to look around, have fun, and you just might pick up a helpful hint or two...
