July 01, 2001 - Have we got an update for you!! First of all, we have a new member - and a new member link! Welcome to Kaimiro Alkira!

Next up we have a new song-spoof from KittyLynne, "I'm Just A Hamster"! In the unk's fanfic section, you can find the rest of C. Schultz's wonderful and exciting fanfic, "Back Fire!" And finally, from the main page (or the Behind the Scenes at HRH page), you can find, "A Day Among Friends" - a story co-authored by the three Kitties! With this story, you'll also find lots of accompanying eye candy from our own KittyShannon!

June 15, 2001 - First of all, we have a new member, so let's all welcome AriellaDaigo! :)

Okay, you may have already noticed, but in case you didn't, there's a beautiful new piece of fanart gracing our main page! Lynne was kind enough to draw a beautiful rendition of Sven and Romelle in traditional Norwegian wedding attire! In the fanart section, we have an absolutely precious pic by Turbo! (Yes, another one!!) It's Hunk and Pidge (and the Kitties) at the beach and we're all just so excited about it!! And finally (at least as far as fanart goes) we have another beautiful image from Spubba - boy can he draw! We don't know how you do it Spubba, but we're sure glad that you do!! :D

And on to Fanfics! We have part of a wonderful fic from a wonderful writer - the fanfic is in the Hunk's fanfic section, it's called, "Back Fire" and it's by C. Schultz! We definitely look forward to more of this fic! :) We also have (in the excerpts section) part 23 of "Masked" by Doreen - it's a great fic, and a great Hunky excerpt! :)

June 03, 2001 - First of all, the Kitties had more planned for this update, but due to real life difficulties, some things simply didn't get done in time. But, rest assured, we'll try to bring you more romance this month! And in the meantime, we have some really great stuff for you to check out! :)

Let's see... First, we have a new member - welcome to Evin, we're happy to have you join!! :D

Next up, we have some new fics - In Cheesy's Corner, we have "All For Lynne" a cute little story just for KittyLynne's birthday! And in the excerpts section, you can find a beautiful chapter from KittyCaro's "School Day's" series, "Part 11 - Cloud Break, Chapter 3". Also in the excerpts section, we have a chapter from Lynne's "Bonds of Love 2: The Ties That Bind". Lynne has also added a new Sven Top Ten to our collection - it's in the Top Ten's section. Finally, Lady Cyberdragon has sent in the latest chapter of her fic - "Devil in Lion Skin" (in the Hunk's fanfic section) and also a hilarious parody "Whose Lion is it anyway?" (in the member's fanfic section).

Last, but certainly not least, Turbo has sent us a super adorable pic of the Hunkster, while KittyShannon has added a pic just for KittyLynne's birthday!

April 29, 2001 - Well, it's almost time for Cinco de Mayo and we here at HRH have created a lovely update with that holiday in mind! :)

We have lots of new stuff with this update, starting with a new member, welcome Sheya! Be sure to check out her site, it's in the members' links section! :)

Our very own KittyCaro has written a hilarious Cinco de Mayo fanfic that you can find in the Hunk fanfic section! And, likewise, Dusty has written a really cute short fic about the Cinco de Mayo happenings at HRH, which you can find in the Behind the Scenes at HRH section. And last, but not least, our sweet little friend, Cheesy the Space Hamster has added a cute PWP (Plot? What Plot?) offering called "Snikkerdoodling" - you can find it in Chessy's Corner! :)

Next up, we have quite a few pieces of new fanart! Let's start with a special gift from Sparkle Pop! April 01, 2001 - Well, knowing our zany bunch, you were probably expecting this month's theme to be April Fool's - especially with our update today! - but I guess we fooled you after all... ^.~

So, this time around, we have some new fanart - an adorable Easter pic on our Main Page by our very own KittyLynne and an especially beautiful Hunk and Pidge pic (by our very dearest, Spubba) which can be found on our fanfics page! :)

New fanfics for your perusal include a new look behind the scenes at HRH (in the story "Funny Bunny") brought to you by Cheesy the Space Hamster, a sweet and funny tale of Hunk's hijinks called, "Arabian Hunk" by Spubba the Mad (which can be found in the Hunk's Fanfics section), and a short yet sweet narrative about a spring time surprise for our favorite "team on the scene" by our very own KittyShannon (also to be found in the Hunk's Fanfic section).

A few notes - You may notice a small change in the Top Tens section - we've renamed "The Hunkateer Top Ten Show" section "Behind The Scenes At HRH" - don't worry! You'll still find your favorite episodes of The Hunkateer Top Ten Show there - we just wanted to expand it a bit so we could give you even more glimpses into our warped world! An early update - wow, what a change, eh?? ^.~ Seriously, this is a really small update - made a few corrections to some boo-boos mostly, but the MP (who has recently returned from vacation) had a hilarious Pidge Top Ten that fits into the St. Patrick's Day theme, and we just had to post it!! We also have a new member - welcome to Doreen!! An one last note... HRH has won another award!! Yay!! :)


March 03, 2001 - A good sized update this time around... To start, there are several new pieces of fan art - you can find some (by Spubba and by Lady Cyberdragon) in the fanart section and there are a couple that are with Shannon's St. Patrick's Day short fic - in the Behind the Scenes at HRH section.

And speaking of fics, the next part of Lady Cyberdragon's fic is up, and so is a cute Hunk fic by Rae!! There's a new addition from Cheesy (in Cheesy's Corner) and there's a new Top Ten section created just for Lynne's newest spin on Top Tens... Dusty recently moved his site, so his link's been updated - and when he gets settled in, he has a funny fic starring Pidge ("And Now For Something Completely Different")...

We have a new member - let's mark WildBlade's addition with a huge welcome! ^.~ - and a few new recipes... and last, but definetly not least, HRH has won a couple of awards!!! Yay!!! :)


February, 18 2001 - Let's start with... This time, we have a couple of new adoptions... In the Member's Fan Fics, we have Parts 12 and 13 of Lynne's "A Reason For Giving" - And in the Hunk's Fan Fics, we have Part 5 of Lady Cyberdragon's "Devil in Lion Skin". In the Top Tens section, we have a new Top Ten by Dusty, and we have a completely new section called Cheesy's Corner - this is where you'll be able to find all the hilarious pieces of work that Cheesy the Space Hamster sends us!! Be sure to check it out - Cheesy is so funny and has the greatest sense of humor! We're sure you'll get a kick out of Cheesy's musings!!! :)


February, 06 2001 - Due to completely unexpected and uncontrollable circumstances, this update is a couple of days late... But, we're here now, so that's what counts! :)

So, today, we have... Two new members! Yay! And a new member link! And a new adoption! :)

Some new fanart - a Valentine from Spubba (such a kawaii pic!), and in the fanart section, a Hunk pin-up pose by Zejan (yum, yum, yum), and a pic of Hunk and Kitti by Lady Cyberdragon (very sweet & from her fic)...

As for fanfics, in the members fanfic section we have chapter 11 of "A Reason For Giving" by Lynne, and in the Hunk fanfic section, we have part 4 of "Devil in Lion Skin" by Lady Cyberdragon and "Guilty Pleasures" by Lynne!

Finally, just in time for Valentine's Day, we've put up a ton of new recipes - and we tried our best to put some really romantic ones in there, too! :)


January, 21 2001 - Alrighty... Where to start this time... We have three new members - Spubba, Yooshu and Kyence and their links - Yay!

Let's see if I can break this down a bit. Let's start with our newest members - Kyence sent us a knee-slapping Zarkon Top Ten - what a sense of humor this one has! While Spubba sent us a great rendition of Hunk and a HRH banner - another very talented artist in our midst!

New contributions from some of our older members are, Part 3 of Lady Cyberdragon's fic - "Devil in Lion Skin" and a Dusty Top Ten from Dusty along with an excerpt from his fic, "Three Rulers, One Throne"... Chapter 9 of Lynne's "Pinky, Voltron and the Brain" is up, along with parts 6 through 10 of her "A Reason For Giving", she's also added a Keith Top Ten this time, and might I add, 'Kudos to you, MP' - I'll tell ya, if funny was marketable, this one would have the copyright! :)

Other sections that have been updated include the "Dream Cuisine" section - lots of easy to make recipes, and a whole new adoptions page which you can find linked to the first. We've also recently added a new section of the site - HRH Guide Lines - which we would appreciate all of our current members and anyone who may like to contribute or join to take a look at.

We'd also like to say 'thank you' to all our members for their *many* contributions to HRH, and send a special 'thank you' to Spubba for pointing out just how vague, or more accurately nonexsistent, our guide lines were. HRH is still in its babyhood and therefore constantly in need of changing (^.~) - it's going to take the many different types of contributions from our wonderful members like you, Spubba, to help us raise HRH to its full potential. :)


January, 07 2001 - Let's see... Lots of new things this time. We have a new member - and the link to his site, yay! We have new handy hints from Hunk, Nanny and Allura. This is a special report...

Internet Announcer: (speaking in hushed tones) "Before we return our viewers to Voltron: Defender of the Universe, we are going out to the site of the Hunkateer press conference, which has already been called to order. And speaking of sites, it seems a surprise announcement is store for members of the VIC/Anime community. Let's go to our woman on the scene, April O'Lion."

April: (smiling toothily) "Thanks Bob. Word from backstage is that excitement is running high and that the rumors that Castle Arus has been denying for weeks are true-which is that Hunk, the beloved 'Big Guy' of the Voltron Force, is finally about to get his props on the Internet. Let's listen in, shall we?"

**Cut to camera shot of a brunette, a redhead and a blonde woman, (all wearing lion ears, bow ties and cuffs, strapless bodysuits with attached lion tails, and heels) strolling onstage. The blonde and the brunette are on the arms of a grinning Hunk,who's in full uniform, as the redhead follows. Flash bulbs pop and questions are yelled as they smilingly wave to the audience and strike various poses. The redhead finally steps up to the mike, adjusts it, and begins speaking.**

"Hello Everyone!

First of all, we thank you all for coming here today. I'd like to introduce the Hunkateers; I'm KittyLynne; and to my left, wearing red, is the beautiful KittyShannon, and on my right, in a gorgeous shade of yellow, is the lovely KittyCaro. And of course, Hunk really needs no introduction."

**Blows kiss to blushing Big Guy as audience erupts in cheers**

Hunk: "Gee..." **grins sheepishly at Kitty Caro, who blushes and smiles happily**

KittyShannon: (leaning into the mike and smiling seductively) "Hello, y'all!"

KittyCaro: (still smiling warmly at Hunk) "Hola!"

**Lynne winks at her friends, then continues** "You are probably wondering about our unusual attire, so let me explain. The three of us got together last October to form a club that we affectionately refer to as 'The Hunkateers.' For a full explanation of what a Hunkateer is, visit the Web site. Btw, anyone can be a Hunk Club member, all you have to do is say something nice about the Big Guy on our Web site, and you're in!!"

**KittyShannon steps forward and whispers in speaker's ear. KittyLynne blushes furiously**

"Oops, sorry everyone ... I better officially announce that there's a brand new Voltron site, huh?" **Shannon and Caro grin and nod vehemently**

"We are excited and proud to announce the Grand Opening of a brand new Voltron site! The 'Hunk is the Real Hunk' Fan Club Site is now open for business!

The three of us are so excited about this undertaking; it's very different (as you will see), the emphasis is on original content, yet it also provides many of the familiar features (i.e. fan art, fan fiction) everyone likes as well. We are making the site heavily interactive for anyone who would like to participate, and it will be updated on a very regular basis (we are shooting for every two weeks) so, please, go check it out and give Hunk a chance to shine!

On a personal note, I would like to add that a new fic of mine is posted there in the 'Member's Fanfic' section. It is a Voltron crossover fic that I have co-authored with my own personal hunk, Mark, and I am quite excited about it. **grins** A Crossover story is definitely new territory for me, but what better time to experiment, than on a brand new site? :)
